Seafood at a BBQ Joint? OH YEAH!

The month of October is designated as National Seafood Month. Our hickory-smoking Lake of the Ozarks BBQ restaurant may not be the first place that comes to mind when you're craving seafood, but maybe it should be! In addition to the incredible BBQ dishes we're famous for, we also offer some amazing seafood menu items at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse

We begin with tasty seafood favorites like shrimp, crab, salmon, and catfish, and then our talented kitchen staff adds our very own Wobbly Boots BBQ twist to make these dishes irresistible. A few of them even spend some time in our smoker getting that awesome hickory flavor that makes our other meats so good.

Why Eat Seafood?
Well, there are a couple of reasons. First of all, the obvious one is that it tastes delicious. The other reason is that seafood is actually full of all kinds of healthy benefits for your body. It's proof that healthy foods can taste good!

You should strive to eat seafood at least twice a week. Selenium is present in many seafood items, which is a mineral that can boost your immune system, sharpen your mind, and is an essential nutrient that has been proven to help in the fight against cancer. You will also get a good dose of Omega-3 fatty acids, which are considered "good fats." These can help to protect your body from heart disease and aid with brain development. There are also many additional vitamins and antioxidants in these tasty food items that add a wonderful variety of health boosts you will benefit from.
