Are You A Steak Fan or a Seafood Fan? We've Got Both!

It's probably no surprise that our Lake of the Ozarks BBQ restaurant serves a savory, juicy steak. Those types of food go hand in hand. Many people don't realize that we also create amazing seafood dishes too. The next time that you are in the mood for a hearty steak or some succulent seafood (maybe even a bit of both,) head on over to Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach. 



Tender Steak
We have some amazing cuts of steak on the menu at Wobbly Boots BBQ. You'll also find some irresistible steak options throughout the sandwich menu. On a bun or on a plate, the best steaks at the Lake of the Ozarks come out of our kitchen!

Rib-Eye
A hand-cut rib-eye grilled to perfection.

Roadhouse Rib-Eye
Our hand-cut rib-eye is topped with sauteed mushrooms and onions along with Provolone cheese. 

Smoked Prime Rib Dinner
(Friday & Saturday after 5 pm)
Our Prime Rib is wet-rubbed and slow-smoked. Each is cut to order and prepared to your preferred degree of doneness, then served with a side of our creamy horsey sauce. This dinner comes as either a 10-oz, 14-oz, or 18-oz. cut. 

*Make any of the above meals a "Surf 'n' Turf" by adding fried, grilled, or Cajun shrimp!



Prime Rib French Dip
Thin-shaved smoked prime rib and melted Swiss cheese on a hoagie served with a side of au jus. 

Prime Rib Melt
Succulent house-smoked shaved prime rib topped with Swiss on grilled sourdough bread. It's served with our house-made horsey sauce on the side for an extra kick!

6-Pepper Steak Po' Boy
Thin-shaved smoked prime rib and Swiss cheese topped with our 6-pepper sauce.


Savory Seafood 
It is recommended that everyone have at least 2 servings of seafood weekly. The seafood choices at our Lake of the Ozarks family restaurant will have you wanting to eat it more often than that! From appetizers to sandwiches to entrees, there's something for everyone. Here are a few of your choices. 

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp
Six large Gulf shrimp individually wrapped with our hickory-smoked bacon and grilled to perfection. 



Brown Sugar Salmon
Grilled salmon filet glazed with our brown sugar teriyaki sauce on top of smashed potatoes with spring green beans. 

Catfish
Two delicious southern-fried catfish filets served with tartar sauce and a slice of lemon. 

Fried Shrimp Dinner
Seven large Gulf shrimp hand-breaded and fried to a golden brown and served with a side of cocktail sauce. 



Catfish BLT
A southern-style catfish filet coated in seasoned cornmeal and fried to a golden brown, then served on a hoagie with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and Cajun mayo. 

Salmon BLT
Grilled salmon filet served on a hoagie with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado mayo. 

Smoked Salmon Wrap
Delicate house-smoked salmon paired with a lemon-caper cream cheese and served in a wheat tortilla with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. 

Fried Shrimp Po' Boy
Delicious combination of hand-breaded shrimp with lettuce, tomato, and Cajun mayo served on a hoagie.

Only 2 Fireside Chat Dinners Left at the Boot Plus A Special Mardi Gras Concert at the Dog

The incredibly popular Fireside Chat Dinner Pairings we've been hosting monthly at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach are coming to an end soon. There are only 2 of these gourmet Lake of the Ozarks annual events left before this round is over. 

Our sister restaurant also has another special off-season concert coming your way in February. Get out your calendar and get these exciting dates booked into your schedule! 



2 More Fireside Chats Left This Season

This year we tried something new by mixing a few wine pairing dinners into the lineup among our whiskey pairing dinners and it's been very successful. January 21, 2020, brings us back to pairing 5 fantastic whiskeys with 5 gourmet dinner courses created by our very own Chef Kevin McCowan. 



Tickets for this evening of culinary delights are $75 per person and the event begins at 6:00 pm. It takes place in our private Fireside Room at Wobbly Boots BBQ so seating is limited. (Hurry and reserve seats if you haven't already because, at this point, we may be very near sold out!)

Mardi Gras Concert at Dog Days
Friday, February 7 (Get tickets at the Boot!)
Even though Dog Days Bar & Grill is still closed for the season this time of year, they're opening up for another very special winter concert in February. The Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl is happening on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, and the Dog's getting that party started early with some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks on Friday, February 7! 



Taking the stage this time around is a lake area favorite, Machine Gun Symphony! This face-melting 80s metal tribute band will have you thinking you traveled back in time. Exploding on stage amid a flurry of hairspray and screeching guitars, these talented musicians bring back an era where excess is a way of life and the music rocks! 

Before they take the stage, special guests The Grasshopper Unit will get the show started. This band's incredible tribute to the Beastie Boys is bound to make them one of your new favorite performers!

How We Create the Best BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks

We often claim to serve the best BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks but those aren't just words we say to sound fancy. Wobbly Boots Roadhouse's actions back those words up with delicious dishes, specialty recipes, and attention to detail that makes all of your senses stand up and take notice! (It's not just the taste, but the smell, feel, and look that's going to have you coming back for more again and again!) 



Just what makes Wobbly Boots BBQ so darn good? Well, here's a closer look at the process that tickles taste buds and has mouths watering all over the Lake of the Ozarks.   

Uniquely Styled
They type of BBQ you'll discover at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach was inspired by many different BBQ masters from around the country. We lovingly refer to it as a "hybrid style" of BBQ combining elements of the dishes found in the BBQ meccas of the U.S.A. - Kansas City, St. Louis, Memphis, and Texas. 

We took our favorite parts away from each of these styles and put them all together to create a taste that people can't seem to get enough of! Luckily for all of you, we're open 7 days a week, year-round, and smoke our meats on a daily basis. 



Hickory-Smoked
The key to creating the Wobbly Boots flavor that is so popular around these parts is the hickory-smoked goodness we infuse into each bite. First, we slow-smoke our succulent meats over hickory, allowing the incredible flavors of each type of meat to come through boldly. Our clever chefs have figured out exactly how long each meat needs to spend in the smoker to become it's flavorful best.  

Next, those meats are coated (or served with a side of) our extraordinary house-recipe BBQ sauce. The end result is a plate full of hickory-smoked BBQ that will leave you fully satisfied yet anxious to come back again for more!  

You won't find our BBQ sauce anyplace else but right here. (Unless you pick up a bottle to take home with you or visit the Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Des Moines that our good friends opened up, that is.) 



So Much To Choose From
You can enjoy our hickory-smoked meats either between two slices of bread or piled high on a plate next to one of our homestyle side dishes. We also create quite a few BBQ entrees that are every bit as irresistible. Here's a look at a few of our offerings. 

Smoked Meat on a Bun
You can enjoy a 5-oz. or 8-oz. portion of your choice of our BBQ meats served on a locally-baked kaiser roll with your choice of our many side dishes. These sandwiches are always served "wet" (sauced) but feel free to ask for the sauce on the side if you like. Meats include:

  • Hand-Pulled Pork
  • Turkey Breast
  • Pit Ham
  • Smoked Sausage
  • Beef Brisket
  • Burnt Ends
  • Combo Sandwich (4-oz. of any two of our smoked meats listed above.) 


Smoked Meat Plates 
Here you can build your own plate filled with the hickory-smoked meats of your choice. Each dinner is served with a piece of Texas toast and one homestyle side dish. 

  • Jumbo Meat Plate
    A jumbo portion of your favorite meat. 
  • Double-Meat Combo
    Two portions of your choosing.
  • BBQ Trio
    Try the original trio of pork, beef, and sausage or select three of your favorites for a hearty meal.


BBQ Dinners
The "Bad to the Bone BBQ" section of our menu adds the deliciousness of two more hickory-smoked classics - ribs and chicken. Each of these tasty entrees is served with a homestyle side dish and a slice of Texas toast.
