The Boot's Just a Short Drive From the Best Annual Events at the Lake of the Ozarks

Labor Day Weekend has come and gone but we've still got some of the best annual events at the Lake of the Ozarks coming up in the next couple of weeks! (The fun doesn't stop after those either!) Best of all, Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach is just a short drive from all of these upcoming events. Here's a closer look at each of them plus a quick peek at what will be waiting for you at our Lake of the Ozarks BBQ restaurant when you stop by.  

Magic Dragon Car Show
The 32nd Annual Lake of the Ozarks Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals fills an entire weekend, Friday, September 11-Sunday, September 13, 2020, with Central Missouri's largest car show. The historic Bagnell Dam Strip will be closed to traffic so you are free to roam up and down the mile-long "parking lot" and get an up-close and personal look at the many makes, models, and years of cars, trucks, and motorcycles on display.  

This is advertised as the only car show that gives away a new muscle car to one lucky winner every year. (We'd love to see you pull into the Wobbly Boots Roadhouse parking lot in that!) Lake of the Ozarks Air Show
If you start at the car show on your way to the air show or vice versa, you'll be passing by Wobbly Boots BBQ on the way, making us a great choice for a pit stop! The Lake of the Ozarks Air Show will happen on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at the Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport. This is an aviation event that you do not want to miss! 

This spectacular day will feature incredible activities like the return of the B-52 Bomber, Brian Correll Air Shows, the popular Ping Pong Ball Drop for tons of prizes, the KC Flight Formation Team, and a whole lot more. 

Also, new this year, the Traveling Memorial Vietnam Wall will be arriving at the airport on Friday, September 11, and remain there for viewing through Sunday, September 13. There will also be a Run/Walk for the Fallen on Sunday as a part of a national tribute to fallen soldiers. Bikefest Lake of the Ozarks
The much-anticipated, massive, Bikefest Lake of the Ozarks rolls through the lake area September 16-20, 2020. The week is filled with many different and exciting activities taking place all over the entire lake area but the Passport Ride, in particular, will lead you directly to Wobbly Boots Roadhouse! 

First, you need to pick up a passport at any of the participating stops for a $20 entry donation. After that, you'll travel to each stop on this year's list, getting a stamp at every one. Once completed, turn that passport in at the "Official Passport Booth" at the Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson Dealership located in their vendor village. All that enter will have a chance to win a brand new Harley-Davidson FLHP Road King Police Motorcycle! 

Also located in that vendor village will be a live music stage with bands provided by our sister restaurant, Dog Days Bar & Grill. Bogeys & Beer Golf Tournament
We've got nearly a month before our 21st annual charity golf tournament happens on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, but you can start forming your team right now! Tee-off will be at 11:00 am at the Oaks at Margaritaville Lake Resort. Keep your eyes peeled for additional information about signing up, which we'll have coming your way very soon! 

Take a Break at the Boot
