August is Catfish Month So Let's Celebrate Seafood, BBQ-Style!

National Catfish Day falls in June but National Catfish Month is set for all of August. While a BBQ restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks might not be the first place to come to mind when you think of seafood, maybe it should be!

Catfish BLT
A southern-style catfish filet coated in seasoned cornmeal and fried to a golden brown served on a hoagie with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and Cajun mayo. 

SALMON

Blackened Salmon Sandwich
A blackened salmon filet served on a hoagie with lettuce, tomato, and a roasted pepper and tomato aioli. 

Smoked Salmon Wrap
Delicate, house-smoked salmon paired with a lemon-caper cream cheese and served in a wheat tortilla with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. 

Brown Sugar Salmon
This dinner gives you a grilled salmon filet glazed with our brown sugar teriyaki sauce on top of smashed potatoes with a side of spring green beans and a big piece of Texas toast. 

Smoked Salmon Salad
A bed of crisp greens topped with our house-smoked salmon, hard-boiled egg, tomatoes, and red onion. 

SHRIMP

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp
This amazing appetizer offers 6 large Gulf shrimp individually wrapped with our hickory-smoked bacon and grilled to perfection. They're great as-is, but you may want to try them tossed in our Chipotle Buffalo sauce too!

Fried Shrimp Dinner
Enjoy 7 large Gulf coast shrimp hand-breaded and fried to a golden brown served with a side of cocktail sauce. These also taste terrific tossed in our Buffalo sauce! 

Fried Shrimp Po' Boy
A delicious combination of hand-breaded shrimp with lettuce, tomato, and Cajun mayo served on a hoagie. (We'll toss this one in Buffalo sauce too if you ask!)
