How Do You Celebrate Celery?
The best answer for this fits in with the poultry topic too, and that's "alongside a plate full of Wobbly Wings!" We find that celery can be pretty boring eaten by itself but serving it with hot wings seems to make this vegetable a lot more attractive.
The cold, crunchiness is a nice contrast to the meatiness of our perfectly hickory-smoked wings. If you happen to choose a wing sauce that's a hot one, that celery dipped in dressing is the perfect way to cool your taste buds down for another spicy bite. When it comes to sauces, your delicious choices include; BBQ (of course), Original, Chipotle Buffalo, Teriyaki, and Trashed (which means they are deep-fried before serving.)
Tastes Like Chicken...
As for National Poultry Day, there are a lot more ways to celebrate that here at the Boot. Just about every section of our menu has at least one tasty chicken option. Here's a look at a few of those.
Chicken Tenders
Fresh chicken tenders, hand-breaded and cooked to a golden brown. These taste especially delicious tossed in one of our savory wing sauces!
Chicken Fried Chicken
Hand-breaded chicken breast served with green beans and smashed potatoes with country-style cream gravy.
Hot Cheesy Stripper
Breaded chicken tenders tossed in our hot chipotle sauce and topped with melted Provolone cheese on a hoagie roll.
Buffalo Chicken Wrap
Breaded chicken tenders tossed in our hot chipotle sauce, served in a wheat tortilla with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheddar-jack cheese.
Grilled Chicken Sandwich
A 7-oz. juicy chicken breast grilled to perfection and served on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, and onion with a side of mayo.
Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich
A 7-oz. juicy chicken breast topped with teriyaki sauce, grilled ham, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and grilled pineapple.
Hickory-Smoked Half-Chicken
Our classic chicken dinner, spice-rubbed, smoked, and glazed in homemade barbeque sauce.
BBQ Chicken & Ribs Combo
A delicious combination of mouthwatering 'que! Half a BBQ chicken and a half-slab of pork spare ribs both glazed with our house-made sauce.
In our opinion, any day you dine at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach is a holiday for your taste buds! These fun calendar holidays just give you a bonus excuse for coming out to enjoy the best BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks. No matter what you're in the mood to celebrate, we'll find a delicious way to help you do it!
