What is Gourmet?
The word gourmet is both a noun and an adjective. If a person claims to be this, they are a connoisseur of fine food and drink, which means that they have the knowledge and expertise to make critical judgments about the taste of something.
When used as an adjective, like when describing the best BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks, gourmet means that high quality or exotic ingredients are used, and the food is prepared in an extremely specialized and skilled way. Our chefs are most definitely highly skilled when it comes to whipping up something amazing and delicious. Even though the incredible flavor of everything that comes out of our kitchen could be considered gourmet, we've chosen to give the following menu favorites that specific title.
GOURMET SANDWICHES & WRAPS
6-Pepper Steak Po' Boy
Thin-shaved smoked prime rib and melted Swiss cheese smothered in our zesty 6-pepper sauce.
Grilled Turkey Wrap
The original Wobbly Boots Wrap! Lightly grilled turkey breast served in a warm wheat tortilla stuffed full of bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar-jack cheese, & ranch dressing.
Prime Rib French Dip
Thin shaved smoked prime rib and melted Swiss cheese on French bread served with a side of au jus.
Turkey Avocado Wrap
Hickory smoked 100% breast of turkey served in a wheat tortilla with avocado, avocado mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheddar-jack cheese.
Hot Cheesy Stripper
Grilled or breaded chicken tenders tossed in our hot chipotle sauce & topped with melted provolone cheese on a hoagie roll.
Texas Style Club
Ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, Provolone cheese, and avocado mayo served between two pieces of wheatberry bread.
Fried Shrimp Po Boy
A delicious combination of hand-breaded shrimp with lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo served on a hoagie.
Prime Rib Melt
Succulent, house-smoked shaved prime rib topped with Swiss cheese on grilled sourdough bread. It's served with our house-made horsey sauce on the side for an extra kick!
Salmon BLT
Grilled salmon filet served on a hoagie with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado mayo.
Big Texas BLT
This Home-style sandwich is loaded with bacon, lettuce, & tomato stacked between two pieces of Texas toast, served with a side of mayo.
Buffalo Chicken Wrap
Grilled or breaded chicken tenders tossed in our hot chipotle sauce, served in a wheat tortilla with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheddar-jack cheese.
Smoked Salmon Wrap
Delicate house-smoked salmon paired with lemon-caper cream cheese and served in a wheat tortilla with lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
Reubens
Classic grilled marbled rye bread, warm sauerkraut, 1,000 island dressing, and melted Swiss cheese are the staples. For the meat, you can choose between house-smoked corned beef, lean turkey breast, or for a twist, smoked sausage.
