Join Us For The Next Wobbly Boots Whiskey Fireside Chat

The first one was so successful, we've decided to do it again! Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach is getting ready to host another Whiskey Fireside Chat on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 6:00 pm, and we really want you to join us. This is a delicious evening full of food and whiskey pairings, great company, and proof that the best BBQ restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is more than the amazing hickory-smoked goodness we're best known for. 

Fantastic Whiskey
This time around, Woodford Reserve will be our featured whiskey for the evening. This incredible Kentucky beverage isn't manufactured, it's crafted in small batches. They use an artisanal process which allows them to craft using all five sources of bourbon flavor, giving the final product a distinct taste and crisp, clean finish. If you've had the privilege of tasting any of Woodford Reserve's varieties, you know exactly what we mean. If not, then this Whiskey Fireside Chat is one that you do not want to miss out on! 

Amazing Food
This event will take place in our private dining area by the fireplace, and each course will be paired with creative whiskey cocktails and tastings. Tickets are $44.99 each, and in addition to the tasty drinks we'll be serving, Chef Kevin McCowan has an amazing menu planned, which includes: 

1st Course

Asiago basket shrimp ceviche with a cherry infused Woodford Reserve Honey and thyme shooter.

2nd Course

Garlic sausage meatball, cabbage, orzo and a roasted tomato bouillabaisse with rye crostini. 

3rd Course 

Micro greens, citrus supreme, prosciutto ham, with toasted hazelnuts and sorghum molasses. 

4th Course 

Peppercorn encrusted pork loin with a duo of potatoes, garlic herb roasted forest mushrooms and smoldering herbs. 

5th Course 

Sherry cask Woodford macerated figs and shortbread.

An expert will be on hand to guide you through the five courses of pairings.
