The first one was so successful, we've decided to do it again! Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach is getting ready to host another Whiskey Fireside Chat on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 6:00 pm, and we really want you to join us. This is a delicious evening full of food and whiskey pairings, great company, and proof that the best BBQ restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is more than the amazing hickory-smoked goodness we're best known for. 

Fantastic Whiskey
This time around, Woodford Reserve will be our featured whiskey for the evening. This incredible Kentucky beverage isn't manufactured, it's crafted in small batches. They use an artisanal process which allows them to craft using all five sources of bourbon flavor, giving the final product a distinct taste and crisp, clean finish. If you've had the privilege of tasting any of Woodford Reserve's varieties, you know exactly what we mean. If not, then this Whiskey Fireside Chat is one that you do not want to miss out on! 

Amazing Food
This event will take place in our private dining area by the fireplace, and each course will be paired with creative whiskey cocktails and tastings. Tickets are $44.99 each, and in addition to the tasty drinks we'll be serving, Chef Kevin McCowan has an amazing menu planned, which includes: 

1st Course

Asiago basket shrimp ceviche with a cherry infused Woodford Reserve Honey and thyme shooter.

2nd Course

Garlic sausage meatball, cabbage, orzo and a roasted tomato bouillabaisse with rye crostini. 

3rd Course 

Micro greens, citrus supreme, prosciutto ham, with toasted hazelnuts and sorghum molasses. 

4th Course 

Peppercorn encrusted pork loin with a duo of potatoes, garlic herb roasted forest mushrooms and smoldering herbs. 

5th Course 

Sherry cask Woodford macerated figs and shortbread.

Incredible Live Music at the Boot: Mardi Gras Pub Crawl AND the Blues Society Jam

The Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl is happening this Saturday, February 18, 2017. Every stop on the crawl will feature some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks, and Wobbly Boots Roadhouse is no exception. We're not stopping there, though, because on Tuesday, February 21, our stage will once again be filled with amazing live music with the Lake of the Ozarks Blues Society Jam. You can grab a bite to eat, something cool to drink, and dance both nights away!

Mardi Gras Pub Crawl 
This Saturday, February 18, 2017, the 16th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl will take place between 17 local bars and restaurants, and you will hear incredible live music at each and every one. A $10 wristband lets you into every stop, plus allows you a ride on any of the 32 buses that will be providing a safe and sober ride for everyone from 4 pm - 2:30 am.  

The amazing Dale Blue, the lake's very own Barefoot Entertainer, will be taking the Wobbly Boots Roadhouse stage at 4 pm. He'll be entertaining our crowd until 8 pm with his unique combination of blues and rock. Don't be surprised if he tosses you a tambourine and asks you to join him onstage!

Once Dale is done, Vinyl Richy will be taking over the stage, and he won't be stopping until last call at the end of the night! He has been dedicated to the DJ, remix, and production game for over 11 years, and he definitely knows how to rock our house! If you take a break from us for a while to hop on a pub crawl bus, be sure to swing by our food tent outside before you go. It will feature pulled pork, burgers, brats, and hot dogs to enjoy while you travel to your next stop.  

Lake of the Ozarks Blues Society Jam
After the Lake Pub Crawl, you'll have a couple of days to rest up before heading back to the Boot for another night full of unbelievable music. The Lake of the Ozarks Blues Society will be here on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 7-11 pm. The host band for the evening is Super Band. 

The LOTO Blues Society's mission is "To promote live blues and blues related music at the Lake of the Ozarks." If you love listening to talented musicians perform amazing music, then this is a night you'll want to make sure you are here. Come in for dinner and stay for the entertainment. 

We are expecting a huge crowd for the Mardi Gras Pub Crawl, and we hope that many of you will find your way back to the best bar at the Lake of the Ozarks again next week for the Blues Society Jam. Enjoy Our Special 1-Night-Only Menu This Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day falls on a Tuesday this year. How do you make a regular Tuesday special enough to impress your sweetheart? Head on over to the best restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks for a 1-night-only special menu. If you've been here before, then you know that the chefs in the Wobbly Boots Roadhouse kitchen never disappoint, and this Valentine's day, they will be cooking to impress! 

The Menu
If your true love is a big Wobbly Boots BBQ fan, we're more than happy to serve any item from our extensive menu to your table set for two. On the other hand, we're putting together two amazing dishes that are not regularly available from the Boot, plus we're bringing our weekend-only Prime Rib Dinner out for a special weekday appearance. Here is what you can look forward to when you plan a holiday dinner here with us after 5 pm.

• Blackened Mahi Mahi with pineapple salsa and white bean puree.
• 6 oz. Filet with a Cajun Cream sauce plus loaded mashed potatoes and spring green beans.
• 10 oz, 14 oz, or 18 oz Prime Rib, slow smoked, perfectly seasoned, then hand cut and prepared to your requested degree of doneness. 

The Plan 

You know your valentine best, so we'll leave it up to you whether dinner at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse is a surprise, or if you want to tell them early and let them get excited about it for a few days. Then, arrange to call it an early day at work and make your way to the Boot for Happy Hour from 3-6 pm. Enjoy a couple of pre-dinner cocktails together before your romantic meal. 

Our Valentine's Day special menu is being served after 5 pm, so once that time rolls around you can get the dining portion of the evening started. Our meals are always filling, but try to save a little room to share some sweet dessert. After all, it is a special occasion! Your choices include:

• Hershey's Chocolate Cobbler
• Rustic Apple Tart  
• Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Pie
• Red Velvet Cheesecake
• Root Beer Float
• Salted Caramel or Premium Vanilla Ice Cream (These are even better topped with bacon and/or pretzel pieces!) 

If you've gone the Happy Hour/early dinner route, then you have the entire evening in front of you to spend together. The local movie theater is bound to have a couple of sweet, romantic choices for you. Of course, you may prefer to rent a movie to cuddle up on the couch with, or binge watch a show you've both been dying to see online.

If you want to switch things around and eat dinner after your Valentine's Day activity, we'll be serving our special menu, along with our entire everyday menu, until 10 pm Tuesday evening. Our Lake of the Ozarks BBQ restaurant will have love in the air, and on your plate, this Tuesday, February 14, 2107. The Best Lake Ozark Mardi Gras Pub Crawl Stop - Wobbly Boots Roadhouse!

February is packed full of exciting reasons to brave the cold and get out of the house, and every one of those special occasions is a great time to head to Wobbly Boots Roadhouse. First, there's Super Bowl Sunday, then Valentine's Day, but around here, the biggest reason to get out comes after both of those are over. The Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl on Saturday, February 18, 2017 brings thousands of people to the lake area for a night full of eating, drinking, partying, and all with a sober ride to chauffeur you around all night long!

Buy Your Wristbands

All you need to get into the world's largest pub crawl is one $10 wristband! That single "cover charge" not only gets you into the place where you purchase it, but into every one of the 17 bars and restaurants participating in this year's event. In addition to that, you can also hop a ride on any of the 32 buses providing a safe and sober shuttle from the beginning of the crawl until long after the bars close that night. 

Wristbands are available at every participating location before the pub crawl, and also the night of the event. Some of the participating hotels have them available for sale, and you can also pick yours up at Sunshine & Daydreams on the Bagnell Dam Strip.     

Plan Your Route
While the buses will take care of all of the driving for you, you may want to have some type of a plan in mind. All of the 17 bars and restaurants will host their own live entertainment, and of course, you're going to need to eat throughout the evening to keep your strength up. Those factors could make a difference in where you choose to begin your pub crawl.

Out of the 32 buses that will be carrying you safely to all of the stops and hotels along the bus route, 4 of those will be on an express route. That way, if you need to get from one end to the other a little more quickly, you can hop a ride on an express bus, which will only be stopping at 4 designated locations. This year's stops include:

Wobbly Boots Roadhouse is packing our entire day with excitement, so you will want to spend at least part of the beginning, the middle, and the end of your night right here with us. We're starting the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks at the very beginning of this year's pub crawl. 

Everyone's favorite barefoot entertainer, Dale Blue, will be taking the stage from 4-8 pm. Immediately after that, the incredible Vinyl Richy will take over, spinning all the best hits until we close down for the night.

Drinks will be flowing all evening, and when you're ready for a bite to eat, you know you can find the best BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks coming out of our kitchen, as well as many other mouthwatering foods to eat. Don't worry if we look crowded, because there will also be a food tent set up outside so that you can grab something to eat in a hurry and get back on the bus. The tent will have burgers, brats, hot dogs, and pulled pork for your dining pleasure.

There are a lot of hotels offering specials for the weekend, but your experience will be a lot more amazing if you book one of the awesome vacation rentals from Shorty Pants Lounge! If you come with a big group of friends, you can split the cost and stay for a low price in an incredible lakeside house.
