5 Delicious Summer Drinks to Enjoy With Your BBQ

Between the summer heat and the hot, juicy, mouth-watering BBQ we serve at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, a person can get thirsty! When you are ready to cool off with a refreshing beverage, the best bar at the Lake of the Ozarks knows how to quench that thirst. 

Mules

The base ingredients for a Moscow Mule are vodka, fresh lime, and ginger beer. The key to this amazing cocktail is the copper mug that it must be served in. Well, you can actually drink it out of any glass you like, but it's way cooler this way. You will find a few different tasty variations of this classic cocktail on our drink menu. 

Margaritas

Over ice is nice, but freeze this tasty drink and it really feels like summer is here. Close your eyes, take a sip, and you'll feel like you are relaxing on a beach in the sun. Of course, the savory scent of our hickory-smoked BBQ will bring you right back to your bar stool, but your taste buds will be so happy it won't matter. 

Soft Drinks

We carry a wonderful selection of non-alcoholic beverages in our family friendly restaurant in Osage Beach, including Coke products, good old-fashioned sweet tea, and lemonade. We actually carry a brand of lemonade made with pure sugar cane. A favorite drink for both the kids and adults is our Draft Abita Root Beer. It is made with spring water, herbs, vanilla, and sweetened with pure Louisiana cane sugar, served up in a frosty mug. We've got ice cream to add to that too!  

Hard Tea & Lemonade

A tall, ice-cold glass of tea or lemonade will always cool you off on a hot day. With a few additions, these classics can be elevated to a wonderful "adult" drink. Our bar stocks a delicious assortment of flavored vodkas and rums to add to lemonade or tea. Mix it all together for a John Daly: 1/2 tea, 1/2 lemonade, and a happy helping of your favorite vodka.

Beer

Most likely the #1 drink to enjoy alongside a big ol' plate of BBQ, beer is always a summer refresher. In addition to the wide variety of domestic and craft beers that we carry in the bottle, our taps hold 21 different draft beers. You will even find a few local varieties on tap and different seasonal choices.

We're An Official Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest Passport Stop!

It's time for the 9th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest, and the best BBQ restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is excited to be a part of it!  There are all kinds on incredible events going on September 17-20 all over the Lake area, and one of the big ones is the Passport Ride.  Wobbly Boots BBQ, along with our sister restaurants Dog Days Bar & Grill and Shorty Pants Lounge, are 3 of the 24 Official Passport Stops.

Here is how the Bikefest Passport Ride works.  You can pick up a passport at any of the 24 official stops.  Once you have filled it up over the course of this 4-day event, turn it in at the Lake of the Ozarks Harley Davidson dealership. Why would you want to do this?  Well, besides the excuse to ride your bike all over the Lake of the Ozarks and try out some pretty incredible bars and restaurants, your stamped passport will qualify you for the grand prize drawing of a 2014 FXSB Softail Breakout from Harley Davidson!
