Meet Our Lake Stock Fall Crawl Band - Fun House!

The Lake Stock Fall Crawl is happening this weekend on Saturday, November 5, 2016, and the best Lake of the Ozarks BBQ restaurant & bar is excited to be a part of the fun! We'll have all the sports action playing in the background on our 21 TVs, incredible mixed drinks and ice cold beer, all of your Wobbly Boots Roadhouse menu favorites, and the best live entertainment on the pub crawl from Fun House!

If you frequented our sister waterfront restaurant, Dog Days Bar & Grill, over the summer, you may have had the pleasure of getting to know the talented musicians that make up Fun House already. They always brought in a fun, party crowd with their high energy dance rock music, and we expect nothing less from them this Saturday at the Lake Stock Fall Crawl. Expect a crowded dance floor from 9 pm - 1 am when you step into the Boot this weekend!

The team over at Dog Days got the chance to ask the band a few questions last summer, and this is what they had to say.

The Band

Jimi James - guitar, vocals

How did the band come together?

The band formed two years ago, with the idea of focusing on current songs & artists, as there are already a ton of 80's, 90'. classic rock, country, and blues bands in the area. We wanted to play something different that could get dancers excited.

What are some favorite or unique gigs you have played?

ALL of them, with summer shows at Dog Days at the top of the list of course! The attendance of bachelorette parties always promise an "off the hook" evening.

What's a party like at Dog Days when you guys play?

Absolutely some of my favorites... I love the lake and lake people... and the best party is at Dog Days. Drinking, dancing, excited peeps... never a dull moment!! Plus the staff is second to none.

Who are some of your greatest musical influences?
All of it…….except polkas.

A lot of punk and new wave influences....but still love the classic cats like Sir Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, etc. etc......but I've come to appreciate a lot of current guys.

Join Us For The 2016 Lake Stock Fall Crawl - Nov. 5

Get out your tie-dye shirts and fringe vests and get ready to join us for the best fall annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks - the Lake Stock Fall Crawl! There are 10 stops on this year's pub crawl route, and Wobbly Boots Roadhouse can be found right in the middle of all of the excitement.

This spin-off from the lake area's widely popular Mardis Gras Pub Crawl is in its 4th year, and it seems to get bigger and better each time it takes place. For the low price of only $10, you will be given a wristband that gains you entry to the 10 participating bars & restaurants, as well as access to the shuttles that will be traveling between the stops and all lodging facilities that are located on the pub crawl route between the Bagnell Dam Strip and Hwy. KK.

THE STOPS
There are 10 stops on this year's Lake Stock Fall Crawl, including your favorite Lake of the Ozarks BBQ restaurant. Each place will feature it's very own live music during the evening.

You can pick up your pub crawl wrist band at any one of these venues beginning the week of the event, and also at Sunshine Daydream on the Bagnell Dam Strip. That store also carries some pretty sweet 70's items for you to dress up in for the crawl. Costumes are encouraged! Here are the stops and the live music scheduled so far.

The buses will run in a continuous loop all night long around the pub crawl route, and also make stops at the hotels along that route. There is no reason to drink and drive because the buses are there to get you where you're going. Groovy Fun at the Boot

Our customers always have an awesome time at Wobbly Boots BBQ, but on pub crawl night, the excitement is going to be out of this world! We'll have Funhouse rocking our stage from 9 pm - 1 am! In addition to the live entertainment, we'll have all 21 of our televisions playing all of your favorite sports action. You can enjoy this fun event without having to miss out on your favorite team's evening games.

Far Out Food & Drinks
As always, we'll have the best BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks coming out of our kitchen, and our bartenders will be slinging the tastiest cocktails plus our amazing variety of 21 beers on tap. Plan your pub crawl route so that you can enjoy dinner with us, and come back around later for a late-night snack, drinks, and dancing.

Depending on how hard you party, you may be moving a little slower than usual on Sunday. No worries, because we'll be here for you!
