AQUAPALOOZA RETURNS TO DOG DAYS!!

Summer is steadily picking up steam here at the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. We wanted to give you a quick heads up about one of the Lake's favorite family-friendly events: Aquapalooza! 

Aquapalooza is one of the biggest and best events of the year. Join hundreds of other people on Saturday, July 19th at our sister restaurant Dog Days Bar and Grill as we celebrate sunshine, great food, and rockin' music!

This year, we're bringing it back to some of the best music in history. Aquapalooza's music lineup features several 80s tribute bands:

• Women of Rock 
• Two of Kansas City's best vocalists, sisters Barbara and Lisa Bowman, lead a tribute band to some of the best female vocalists in the last three decades.
• Revelation, A Tribute to Journey

• Originally a traditional 80s rock band in Kansas City, lead singer Danny Wayman refocused his talented group to create a tribute to one of everyone's favorite bands - Journey!
• Members Only
• The nation's premier 80s tribute will perform all your favorite hair and pop classics all wrapped up into one amazing show.
• Hells Bells, America's #1 AC/DC Tribute Band
• Hells Bells has been touring 42 states and multiple countries for the last 15 years. Complete with authentic costuming, this high-energy band will deliver all the adrenaline of an actual AC/DC concert.

In addition to this FREE amazing concert, this event will feature plenty of games and prizes!

After months of snow and ice, everyone at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse is more than ready for some summer fun!! If you're looking for something fun to do to satisfy your spring fever, check out Hot Summer Nights this Friday (the 9th) for the first of several events for the year!




Cool Cars on the Strip!


This repeat event is going to be better than ever this year, with all kinds of amazing attractions for the whole family! Come enjoy...

• Face painting, pirates, clowns, and other kid-friendly events

The Strip!

This is a top-notch event that attracts locals a well as vacationers from far and wide. Bagnell Dam Blvd (affectionately known as "The Strip") will be filled with people having a good time!

The best part? This Friday is simply the first of several of these nights! There will be another one of these exciting nights every month during the summer season at the Lake. The exact dates are:

• September 5

• Memorial Day Weekend is May 23-26th and you can visit any of our three restaurants for a good time, good food and drink specials!
• White Party - This is THE PREMIER PARTY at the Lake!  You will NOT want to miss this one - so put together your hottest WHITE outfit and meet us at Shorty Pants Lounge on June 3rd.
• Canine Cannonball - This family friendly event is held at Dog Days June 6-8th.  Canines go for the Gold by competing in Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Speed Retrieve events. Open to all dogs, and is a fundraiser for the Dogwood Animal Shelter in Camdenton.
  
  
• AquaPalooza - The largest on-water concert at Lake of the Ozarks is scheduled for July 19th at Dog Days!

Don't forget, Wobbly Boots is the BEST Sports Bar at Lake of the Ozarks and is the perfect place to catch all of the Cardinals Baseball action this season!!  There is plenty of seating for your entire group or you can enjoy the game from the bar.  We have a great happy hour from 4-6 and the perfect appetizers for every gathering!

Gettin' Groovy at Dog Days Disco Party!!

This weekend is the Annual Disco Party at Dog Days and and that means it's time to track down your platform shoes squeeze into your bell bottoms!!  You won't want to miss the BEST PARTY at the Lake of the Ozarks!!

This party will also mark the end of the 2013 Season for Dog Days - so pull together your grooviest outfit and get down for our End of the Season Disco Party!!  They will also have LIVE music by the Ultra Violets!

The Fall Harbor Hop is THIS Weekend at Lake of the Ozarks!!

This weekend is the 2013 Annual Fall Harbor Hop at Lake of the Ozarks!

Once again, our sister restaurants Dog Days Bar & Grill and Shorty Pants Lounge will be participating in the Annual Fall Harbor Hop This is an exciting day of Lake Hopping that is sponsored by the Lake of the Ozarks Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Marine Dealers Association and waterfront restaurants around the Lake area.

The Harbor Hop is an event where participants will "hop" from various restaurants and marinas to draw playing cards in order to build a winning hand that is eligible for prizes.  People that want to participate can donate $15 per seven-card hand.  You can start your hop anywhere and begin drawing your first card at any of the 40+ sponsoring restaurants and marinas.  For a complete list of restaurants and marinas to choose from, go to www.funlake.com/harborhop

Prize Allocations are as follows:

1st Place - 10%
2nd Place - 9%
3rd Place - 8%
4th Place - 7% each
5th-10th Place - 5 % each
4 Worst Hands - 4% each

(all ties will share the allocated percentage for the placing)

The Bonus - In addition to the regular prize winners, a section winner will be recognized.  To be eligible to be a section winner, a player must draw all seven cards within one of the four sections listed on www.funlake.com/harborhop
