May is an incredible month. The weather is warming up, flowers are blooming and trees are budding, and it also happens to be National BBQ Month! (May had us at BBQ!!!) As you might imagine, that's a pretty exciting thing for our Lake of the Ozarks BBQ restaurant to celebrate, because BBQ is what we're all about. Here are a few reasons why you should join us for the best BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks to celebrate. 

Hickory-Smoked Goodness
For over 20 years, Wobbly Boots Roadhouse's BBQ recipes have been piling up awards, as well as happy, dedicated, return customers. Our unique "hybrid style" of BBQ got its inspiration from the BBQ meccas of the U.S.A. - Kansas City, St. Louis, Memphis, and Texas! We combined their mouthwatering styles and created a taste that gives you the best BBQ in the Midwest.   

First of all, we slow-smoke our succulent meats over hickory, which allows the incredible flavors of each type of meat to come through boldly. Next, we coat those meats (or serve them with a side of) our flavorful, house-made BBQ sauce. The end result is a plate full of hickory-smoked BBQ goodness that keeps you coming back for more again and again!   

LOTS of Choices
You'll find our hickory-smoked meats used as an ingredient in many dishes throughout our menu, but the stars of the show this month are our award-winning Bar-B-Que sandwiches and meat plates. We have a wide variety of meats that you can order on a bun, or you can instead build a plate with 1, 2, or 3 different types of meat. Those choices include:

Our Lake of the Ozarks family restaurant offers a down-home family-friendly atmosphere, and we've got plenty of seating for groups of every size. With the weather getting nicer day by day and all of the wonderful outdoor spots to enjoy at the lake, we totally understand if you want to make a to-go order and head to a park with it, or even your own backyard. 

If you happen to be entertaining a large group, or possibly throwing your own celebration for National BBQ Month, you can take advantage of our catering options too. In many cases, with advance notice, we can even load up our Wobbly Boots Roadhouse catering van and bring the food to you!
