It's Almost Time for the 2013 Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop

The Rubber Ducks will soon be falling from the sky - the 5th Annual Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop will be held on August 3rd at the Historic Bagnell Dam. Here is a short summary of the days events!!

The day will kick off with a 5K Run and Waddle Walk. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m. Registration is $25 and children under 12 are free. Each entry will receive an event T-shirt.
The Fun Zone will open at 10 a.m. just below the Bagnell Dam - you will find games and prizes, bounce houses, face painting live music, great food and more!!
The Duck Drop will begin at noon. If you do not have your ticket for a chance at $5000 yet, you will have an opportunity to purchase one the day of the event for $5 - but all sales will end at 11 a.m.

The Ducks are Falling for the 4th Annual Duck Drop!!

The Ozark Coast Kiwanis is having their 4th Annual Bagnell Dam Duck Drop this Saturday, August 4th!!! This is an awesome event that will give you a chance to win $5000 CASH and help support local children in need.

The day will be filled with family fun activities that offer something for the entire family to enjoy. The day will begin with a 5K Run/Waddle Walk at 8:00am that starts at the Dam Bait Shop - whether you are a seasoned runner or just want to get out of the house for a nice stroll, the Run for the Dam is a great event to participate in and all proceeds will benefit local needy children.

The Family Fun Zone will offer all kinds of great activities and will be open from 10:00am-3:00pm. Games, entertainment, face painting, food and much more will be happening throughout the day. Bring your kids and enjoy a family friendly atmosphere.

The Duck Drop will begin at noon, as Lake Ozark Helicopters pours down thousands of rubber ducks to float down the river and begin the much anticipated race!! Twelve prizes will be awarded with the winning duck ticket holder receiving $5,000 cash! There will also be other prizes ranging from $1,000 cash, a $500 shopping card to Hy Vee, five $100 shopping cards to Paul’s Supermarket and many more. At 2pm the official winner will be announced and you need not be present to win.

All the money raised from the event benefits the Kiwanis Club of the Ozark Coast which focuses on helping LOCAL children in need throughout the Lake Area.

Tickets are on sale now from any Kiwanis member and at Bank Star One on HH, Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks at both the Lake Ozark and Osage Beach locations, Hy-Vee Supermarket and Paul’s Supermarkets.
