May is Not Only BBQ Month, But Burger Month & Salad Month Too!

Last week we told you how to best celebrate National BBQ Month with the best BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks. This week, our blog is full of even more spring deliciousness! It turns out that May is also the month set aside to observe the tastiness of burgers and salads. We're not sure why all of these foods share the same month, but we do know that you can get the best of every one of them right here at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse!

Black Angus Burgers
It's easy to claim you have the best burgers in the Midwest when you make them the way we do here at the Boot! We only use 100% Black Angus ground chuck, which happens to be made from the tastiest, most tender cut of beef available.

Each burger is formed by hand to ensure that every single one served meets our high standards of size and shape. After it is perfectly formed, we cook it on a flat-top iron and serve it up on a fresh, kaiser bun. Check out the tasty options we've created for you.

Farm Boy Burger
A juicy, flavorful classic cooked the way you like it!

El Diablo Burger
A real mouth burner! It's topped with ghost pepper cheese, bacon, jalapenos, and our zesty 6-Pepper sauce.

Patty Melt
Our famous burger topped with sauteed onions & Swiss cheese and served on grilled marbled rye bread.

Beale Street Burger
Our tribute to the South! This burger is topped with pulled pork & creamy cole slaw.

Ham, Mushroom, Swiss Burger
Our famous Farm Boy burger topped with pit ham, sauteed mushrooms, and Swiss cheese.

Hickory Bacon BBQ Cheeseburger
Now that's a mouthful! A half-pound burger topped with our house-recipe BBQ sauce, hickory-smoked bacon, and good old American cheese.

Burger of the Week
Please ask your server about the specialty Burger of the Week each time you come in.

You may also build your own burger with the following toppings:
  • Cheeses: American, Swiss, Cheddar-Jack, Ghost-Pepper, & Pepper Jack
  • Bleu Cheese Crumbles
  • Sauteed Mushrooms
  • Sauteed Onions
  • Sauteed Green Peppers
  • Bacon

Hearty, Fresh Salads
When you "go for the greens" at our Lake of the Ozarks BBQ restaurant, you'd better be ready for a salad that's hearty enough to conquer even the biggest appetite! We start with fresh, crisp greens as a base, then add tasty ingredients on top of that and, in many cases, a few of our mouthwatering, hickory-smoked meats too! Each of our salads is a healthy meal that won't leave you hungry.

The Big Salad
This salad is so big, we also offer it in a half portion! Add your choice of a delicious meat topping (fried or grilled chicken, fried or grilled Buffalo chicken, hand-pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked turkey breast, pit ham, or burnt ends) to a large bowl of mixed greens topped with tomatoes, red onion, and cheddar-jack & provolone cheeses. Grilled or fried shrimp or smoked salmon are also available for an additional charge.

Smoked Salmon Salad
A bed of crisp greens topped with our house-smoked salmon, hard-boiled egg, tomatoes, and red onions.

Cowboy Cobb
aka - the KING OF SALADS! A platter of crisp greens generously topped with smoked ham & turkey, crumbled bacon, hard-boiled egg, avocado, tomatoes, red onion, and cheddar-jack & provolone cheeses. This salad is also available as a half portion.

We have the following dressings available: Ranch, Fat-Free Ranch, Bleu Cheese, Honey Mustard, French, 1,000 Island, Italian, Balsamic, and Chipotle Ranch. You may also add avocado or a hard-boiled egg to any salad for a small additional charge.
